Designed and deployed a waterproof AUV to profile pressure, temperature, and pH vs. depth at Dana Point Pier. Included op-amp signal-conditioning circuits, Teensy microcontroller firmware, and MATLAB calibration pipelines across 14 field trials.

Extended Kalman Filter built from scratch to fuse IMU and GPS on real driving hardware. Three filter versions with increasing complexity. Final result: 74.3m drift over a 60-second GPS-denied window using tilt-corrected quaternion integration.

Three-curve race apparatus built through three prototype generations, from 3D-printed PLA to CNC-machined MDF, confirming the cycloidal path as time-optimal under gravity. Quantitative results matched theoretical predictions with <3% inter-trial variance.
